Favorite Pair of Board Shorts

I purchased a pair of O’Neal board shorts two years ago from eBay. I got an excellent deal on the board shorts, something around $15.

They were listed at over $60 brand new. These board shorts are yellow with a bright blue Hawaiian floral pattern.

They were purchased at the end of the summer of 2008, but I did get one beach trip in before I had to put them away for the winter.

When the summer of 2009 rolled around, I basically lived in these board shorts. When it’s hot outside and you’re near the water, there is nothing more appropriate (or comfortable) than board shorts!

The summer of 2010 is rapidly approaching. I imagine I will be purchasing another pair of board shorts in the early spring with an updated design.

The yellow with blue floral pattern have held up fantastically but it would be nice to have an additional pair. Over the winter I purchased a boat, so this summer I will be in the water non-stop and I can’t wait!

I recently saw a website that had some awesome board short designs, but best of all you could have a design screen printed onto your board shorts.

I’m contemplating getting my boat name and logo printed onto a few pairs so that I can keep them on the boat.

That way in case anyone forgets their trunks I’ll have an extra pair on board. Board shorts are a staple for summer clothing if you live at or near the beach!
