How Does a Rash Guard Help?

I bought a rash guard typically as a sporty shirt, intended for water use.

The rash guard shirt was initially developed for surfers who were getting rashes from the wax on their surf boards.

Rash guards can be used for a variety of water sports and activities such as surfing, wake boarding, water skiing, windsurfing, and skateboarding, kayaking and even leisure swimming.

Rash guards offer immense guard against potentially unsafe elements in addition to being a great first layer to wear under your wetsuit.

They prevent skin irritation from boogie boards as well as provide you with UV protection.

Other sports and activities have implemented the rash guard shirt into usual working practice as well.

In Karate, the shirt is worn under the Gi to prevent roughness from the stiff cotton uniform.

In Grappling, most fighters now wear the long sleeve rash guard shirt, as they make it more difficult to grip by the rival.

In yachting, trained squads now wear the rash guard shirt as a uniform item during water sports because they dry quickly and look much sharper than a wet T-Shirt.
