Macular Degeneration Knows No Age!

Macular degeneration is a debilitating disease that robs people of their sight.

My grandmother and cousin both have this disease. My grandmother recently went through an experimental treatment that included the injection of a drug into her eyeball.

Although there was limited improvement, there has not been a complete reversal.

However, she is able to read using a special machine that enlarges pages of books, and has big-handed clocks in her house.

She is a special woman- still cooking on her wood stove every day!

My cousin is still a young man and does not have a large amount of symptoms. However, his eyesight continues to deteriorate, and some day he will be at the point that my grandmother is.

Hopefully, by then there will be a better treatment for this horrible disease.

I suggest to anyone that suffers from this that they agree to try experimental treatments so that it may help save the eyesight of many people in the future.

Good luck to anyone reading this post.
