My Love of Water Shoes

During the summer I like to take trips to the beach or go camping near lakes and rivers.


When I go to swim in the ocean, river or lake I like to protect my feet with water shoes.


When I forget my water shoes, I run the risk of stepping on a potentially dangerous animal or object, such as a syringe or fishing hook.


Water shoes are a great way to protect your feet while having a great time.


They can also protect your feet from jelly fish stings.


Sometimes my friends ask why I am so particular about remembering to wear my water shoes.


But I just smile and wait for something to happen to their feet while they are swimming and then I say, "I told you so - look how easy it is to prevent such injury in the future!" The joke is on them.


I always remember to wear my water shoes.
