To Protect My Eyes?

UV rays damages the eye crystalline lens as well as the retina and macula in the back.

You can avoid this by wearing sunglasses yourself and baby sunglasses for the kids. Just choose sunglasses from optical centers approved by the Ministry of Health.

This way you will guarantee that glasses filter 100% of the UV rays and not distort the picture.

Do not ever buy cheap glasses from any corner of the street. Otherwise you might actually help in damaging your eyes.

The claim that dark glasses offer better protection against UV rays is false.

If after a long exposure to the sun, your eyes hurt, ease them by applying wool pads soaked in cold infusion of chamomile to the eyelids.

In regards to UV rays, expensive sometimes means better but not in the case of sunglasses.

What matters about sunglasses is the degree to which the lens filters UV radiation. When you buy glasses, you are interested primarily in what is the level of UV protection.

To protect your eyes 100% against harmful UV rays, wear the sunglasses with a sun protection hat or a peaked cap.

Try to avoid sitting out between 11.00 and 15.00, the period in which sunlight is harmful to the maximum.

In conclusion, never leave your home without UV protection sunglasses.

If you go to the beach do not forget to have with you a cotton towel, face and body cream with a high protection factor and sunglasses with UV filter. Just like I always do too, because I would like to be able to see till I am 100 years old and for everyone the eyes are very important.
