Finding the Right Girls Bathing Suit is Tough to do

by Kelley

I always have a difficult time finding the right girls bathing suits. It's got to be perfect before I'll wear it on the beach or to a lake.

It can't show too much skin, but it can't be something that an elderly person would wear, either. I first begin looking at magazines since I get several of them in the mail.

The problem with shopping with magazines is that you can't try on the bathing suit. Also, the bathing suits are usually pretty expensive, plus you have to pay for shipping and handling.

What a pain!

Next, I usually go to the mall and check out what's there. Often, I find that the styles are targeted more toward teenagers than someone my age (I'm in my mid-30s), and the more trendy bathing suits don't usually fit my tastes.

Where I usually end up finding the perfect girls bathing suits is at a discount store like T.J. Maxx or Marshalls. Those stores tend to have a really big selection of bathing suits from different designers and different countries.

I think that having a designer bathing suit that fits well, and that costs less because it's from a discount department store, is neat. I always find at least one suit that looks good on me.

Most often, I stick with one piece swimsuits, because I'm not too comfortable with what my husband calls my tiny but broad belly.

However, sometimes there are great two piece suits out there, I think they're called "tankinis", which really flatter my shape.
