Sun Care in High Places

Living at high elevations is no easy feat. Everything is affected by living at higher elevations, including recipes.


Did you know you have to adjust recipes when you live at certain elevations (hint: normally this involves increasing or decreasing the liquid required)?


If you live or routinely spend time in high elevation places, you probably already know that you have to take extra precautions when it comes to sun protection methods.


You will need to take extra care not to be out in the peak times for sun in your area.


You can normally tell the peak times by looking at your shadow, or just to be extra safe, use extra sun screen whenever you are out between 11am and 4pm.


It can be truly beautiful to live and stay in high elevation places, but you will not have as much fun if you do not take care of your skin.
