Sun Protection Clothing
Sun protection clothing is truly one of the lesser known inventions to the general public. However, if you are reading this you are already on your way.

Being an engineer, I know that Ultraviolet rays are much smarter than that and sneak right thru normal fabrics.

Why did the need surge so dramatically?
The doctors, especially dermatologists noticed a hike in the rate of skin cancer including melanoma.
Unfortunately, years of sun exposure was taking its toll on the skin.
But the good news is that UV protective clothing companies have invested a lot in this and have come up with some of the best sun protective clothing around.
Using advanced technology and materials along with high tech machinery, they have been able to knit fabrics which practically block 99% of the UVA and UVB rays.
This is a great achievement, since you can wear them and protect your skin all day.
You won't need to worry about re-applying like you would with sunscreen.
You would ideally want a fabric that's rated UPF50+ or at least SPF30 for maximum sun protection.
