I Loved Candy Land

I remember being about 5 the first time I ever played Candy Land. It was the most amazing game in the world to me.

I had an older brother and no sisters growing up so everything I knew were “boy games” until my cousin got Candy Land for her birthday.

She turned 7 that year and we fell in love with the game the very first time we played.

It was amazing that we didn’t need adults to teach us it was super easy to learn and so much fun.

The board was delicious to look at and even when one lost the other player or players still had fun because they had made it to fun parts of the board game.

That Christmas I remember asking Santa for it and I got it. I used to play by myself religiously till this day, being 23 and all I have fond memories and wouldn’t mind playing once again.

I just hope I enjoy it as much as I did as a child.
