Outdoor Games for Kids and Adults

There are lots of outdoor games that I have played over the years and continue to do so.
Since I hail from India, where
cricket is like a religion, I got into playing cricket first.
That game is played by 11 players per side and the aim of the game or the team is to make the maximum runs.
The team that makes the maximum runs in a game is the winner.
It taught me many aspects like gamesmanship and playing for the team which is very important even in everyday life.
Some of the other sports I have played are
football, basketball, badminton and a little bit of
tennis.
All these games inspire the athlete in an individual and for games like football and basketball, you require high amount of coordination amongst your team-mates and they are bound to test your stamina as well.
Tennis can be played either by 2 people or by four. Tennis requires high concentration and stamina as well as excellent hand-eye coordination.
Even badminton is quite similar to Tennis but here it is played by a shuttle cork.
The advantage of outdoor games is that they give us an insight into many qualities that we need to develop and kids start developing qualities like sportsmanship, leadership and team-spirit at a very young age.
