UV Skinz Sun Protection Clothing

A friend of mine recently introduced me to UV Skinz swim shirts.

I have two children and she knows that I’m always concerned about sun exposure because my children have very light skin, and love spending time outdoors.

UV Skinz sun protective swim shirts are stylish and colorful and my children love them!

The swim shirts have a UPF rating of 50+ which means they block out over 98% of the sun’s harmful UV rays.

My children tend to burn quickly even with a high SPF sunscreen so I was looking for something that added extra protection.

The UV protection in these shirts is provided by the tight weave of the fabric. I was very surprised by the quality of these shirts.

They keep my children sunburn free when they’re out playing in the yard, or enjoying an afternoon in the pool.

I was concerned at first that my children would overheat if they wore them while playing, since the shirts are like long sleeved mock turtle necks.

But because the material is so lightweight my children were running around like always and were never too warm or uncomfortable.

I plan on ordering more of these swim shirts so my children can wear them all through summer for all of their outdoor activities, not just swimming.

UV Skins was started by Rhonda Sparks in 2005. She lost her 32 year-old husband to skin cancer. She has since dedicated her time to promote skin cancer awareness and education.

She started her UV Skinz products and a foundation, The Darren Lee Farwell Foundation, to honor her late husband.
