As with many other fashions for children girls including Halloween costumes, the designs are much more risqué than for the same age group 10 years ago.
There is a lot less material to worry about which means there is much more skin to worry about sunburn.
Of course exposing yourself to direct sunlight helps the body to make Vitamin D in darker skinned people such as my family.
I happen to be Black and my wife, Korean, so we need the vitamin D as do our kids. Anyway I’m glad my daughters can still fit the girls bathing suits from last year.
