Water Shoes Great Piece of Gear

are great for going to the beach and swimming in the ocean.
They provide a variety of protection to the feet because of there thick skins. They also provide a way in which to keep your feet warm while enabling your feet to breath.
Here is how they work, the neoprene allows the water to move more slowly to the surface of the skin allowing the body to heat the water that is next to the skin for a longer time.
Imagine having the air move your body heat away from you four times faster than what is normal. Well that is what the water does when you are submerged and the neoprene slows that process.
They are also very comfortable and normally have a semi hard sole. This will allow you to stand on a coral reef or other types of sharp objects.
This is a great product first used by skin divers and scuba divers and now being used by mainstream society as a piece of fashion.
