Don't be Afraid of UV Rays!

A lot of people would do anything to have that perfect glowing tan, like that of celebrities.

However, some take it too far and not only endanger their health, but make themselves look very unnatural and undesirable.

The term UV ray exposure is often associated with negative concepts such as skin cancer and/or burning of the skin.

But UV rays can actually be healthy for the skin, in the right doses.

Many people make the mistake of thinking that they don’t burn in the sun and think they can get away without wearing sunscreen when exposed to the sun for a long period of time.

However, even if you have the skin type that doesn’t burn easily, you always need to wear sunscreen. A friend of mine made this mistake and definitely paid for it.

When on vacation, because she had seldom been sun burnt before, she decided to not wear any sun protection at all.

At first she was fine, but later that night she realized her skin was badly burned and spent the next three days recovering (not something you want to waste your time doing on vacation).

So, bottom line is don’t be afraid of UV rays exposure, but always wear sunscreen to protect your skin.
