Luck of the Irish
(Minneapolis, MN, USA)
However, I'm not so lucky when it comes to skin protection, and thus this has made me very shy of being outdoors for very long.
I have found when I know I'm going to be outside steadily for more than a few minutes that I always cover myself in a high SPF sunscreen.
I also still wear long sleeves even during the summer months to avoid skin damage, and when outside gardening I also will wear a very wide-brimmed hat.
While I'm not making any fashion statements here, skin cancer
runs rampant in my family and I really don't want to take any chances at all.
I have only had a slight tan twice in my life which was not intentional, but rather from poor quality sunscreen lotion that sweat and washed off me while I was gardening.Human SkinSPF ClothingSun Protection ClothingUV Protective Clothing
