Exposing to UV rays is normally not advisable. There are three kinds of invisible UV rays in the sun such as UVA, UVB and UVC.

When we are exposed to these kinds of rays we will suffer from tans, burns etc...

It can also cause skin cancer. The intensity of these rays vary as per the season, during the Summer they are at their strongest.

Normally everybody's skin contains a chemical called melanin which protects the skin from the UV rays.

Exposure to UV rays during the Winter can temporarily harm the eyes and lead to the risk of developing eye disorders.

So it is very much necessary to protect our eyes from the UV rays. This can be achieved by using UV absorbing sun glasses.

So it’s always advisable not to get too much exposed to sun and its UV rays. Take a better care if exposed too much to such rays.
